To pay, click the Home button twice and hold the device to the terminal, keeping your finger on Touch ID. Or open the Wallet app.

To pay in apps or websites, press the Apple Pay button or choose Apple Pay as a way to pay. Depending on the model of your device, in order to pay, you need to:

  • For iPhone X and later models or iPads with Face ID: press the side button twice and use Face ID or enter a password.
  • For iPhone 8 and later models or iPads without Face ID: use Touch ID or enter a password.
  • Apple Watch: press the side button twice.
